"We absolutely adored the Quinta da Lagoa. Two lovely pools, great staff, beautiful grounds, lots to do. Just a short drive to both Mira and Praia de Mira, which have great restaurants. About a 25 minute drive to Aveiro. The mattresses are not as hard as most other Portuguese hotels, thank goodness. The breakfast is as good as other Portuguese hotels we've been to: consider it a good continental breakfast, while recognizing that the hot portion isn't so... hot, lol. "We had a fantastic stay! We stayed here for three nights as a detour on our trip for some sun, swimming, and relaxation. Check-in was very smooth and the staff were super friendly!
