"The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. "Slight mix up with room key but quickly and easily resolved. Floor boards on floor 3 landing very creaky, impossible to sneak to bed quietly at gone midnight. Staff pleasant breakfast excellent."

"Staff was not friendly and offered no explanations regarding breakfast or which rooms on the main floor were open for guest use. Since it is INCREDIBLY difficult to get to and there’s no towns nearby, we had no options but to eat dinner there. The food was good but this definitely brought up our overall costs. Our stay was okay but given that it was by far our most expensive stay of our Scotland trip, I can’t say I’d recommend it. P "
