"This hotel is in a fantastic location in Brighton. Excellent customer service as soon as you arrive, staff always helpful and polite. We upgraded to the deluxe room which was very spacious and clean. The bistro was delicious and Mohammed was attentive throughout the service. The bar staff were always polite. There are no lifts in the hotel."

"We had a great little stay here for my daughters 18th birthday. Free cookies on arrival, plus cans water for the room. The room was spotless on arrival. We used the facilities and enjoyed both the gym and the pool. We will be back! Highly recommend."

"What a great location for the pier, beach and the lanes. Walkable from the train station to get your bearings. I did feel the pool tiles were slippery under foot when wet so had to walk very slowly. Pool and showers where great and the Welsh chap on gym was very friendly and helpful. The lounge had awesome views which we used several times while staying. Our double king size room was great for my friend and myself. Thanks"

"Really good place would try again. Problem was the room location overlooking a very noisy pub garden which was noisy to the early hours of Sunday morning. Would only stay again if a quieter room was available."

"Excellent and cooked to order breakfast with many options. Cocktail bar has some very interesting choices too. We stayed in the David Bowie shrine suite which is fabulous and fun for any fan but the bed is very “Low” so bear that in mind if you have an issue with knees or back. Decor - loved the blind and shower curtain in particular. This booking was a surprise from my husband and I couldn’t have been more delighted."

"The whole place was covered in scaffolding. Making it extremely difficult to find. It was advertised as a hotel but it is a hostel. The whole place was shabby and dingy. It was not much cheaper than a good hotel "

"The only saving grace of this hotel is the location; it is literally steps away from the seaside. I was in Brighton for a conference and everywhere else was fully booked, so I didn't have much choice. Having read the reviews beforehand, I was already skeptical, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed my fears. I certainly won't be back. ​While the room was clean, it was freezing because the heating wasn't working. Since there are no phones in the rooms, I had to walk all the way to reception...
