Perfect in single room for solo traveler for a couple of nights Room is quite small but the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is really good.Very close to the beach and staff are attentive and helpful especially at reception. Will stay here again next time in Brighton.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in a twin room with a seaview on the 3rd floor. Great location, there is a lift note it is very small and old fashioned. The room was very clean and had plenty of hanging and drawer space. Unfortunately there were no vegetarian alternatives at breakfast.

Stay two nights, room is ok clean and some sea view, good breakfast, only on second day, they just give new towels but for soap etc nothing so stay only one night is value your money NO WI-FI in room

Room very basic but clean.Bed appeared very old and shower did not dispense hot water.Lift in property appeared Victorian in nature and did not work on the Sunday.Heat appeared always on in bedroom and system was that old that i was unable to adjust it.When I raised the matter with receptionist was told that there was nothing she could do about it! Late night staff rude and unhelpful although the young ladies on duty for breakfast were very helpful.All in all,NOT recommended.

The staff of The Beach Hotel were friendly, helpful and responsive in every way. From the front desk staff, who are on duty 24 hours a day and who helped me often with my questions, as I have brain damage and absolutely no short term memory and they took care of me -- to the housekeeping crew who were so freaking friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and inviting with a beautiful lobby/dining area where complimentary breakfast is available. It is also perfectly located -- not on the beach which would be louder and windier and more expensive -- but about half a block up the slight hill from the beach which was fantastic! It was clean, quiet, easy to get to, and very comfortable. Not a modern chain hotel, but even better because it had some quirky twists and turns and and old school charm. Great place! OH -- and an incredible video to the song Genesis by the Brighton based international superstar Ren was shot right on that block and the area was quite recognizable. So fun!

Jag hade en fantastisk vistelse på detta anrika hotell! Fantastiskt hjälpsam personal, precis lagom stor frukost och rent och snyggt på rummet. Det enda man kanske skulle varna för är den ålderstigna hissen, vilken gjorde att jag hellre tog trapporna. Det finns ingen WiFi på rummen men det funkade väldigt bra i lobbyn.

Nice full breakfast. There is no air conditioning, but there are fans if you need them. Excellent location by the beach. The main issue is that the WiFi only works in the lobby which is not necessarily quiet.
