"No parking as advertised. Staff were very casual - often sat on their phones on the sofa round the corner from the front desk. There was nowhere to hang the shower hose. It was just loose over the bath. They did fix it once I told them, but I would've expected it to have been addressed before my arrival. "Look it was a hell of lot cheaper than what I could find. I had no problem with the place although I can see why people would have. I wanted somewhere to crash and have a shower. Stayed for four nights. If you want quality look elsewhere, If you want friendly staff, good breakfast, a clean bed and a reasonable bathroom you can't fault it."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location near shops and the beach. It's still very new in terms of its condition and everything looks great. Reception check in was quick and easy and our room had actually been ready early but unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage. We dropped off our bags and rushed out again"

"The hotel staff were amazing. We were there for the marathon and they allowed us to leave our luggage and then let us return later for a shower. It was an unexpected treat which we were so grateful for as it allowed us to freshen up and not have to drive home sweaty. Thank you"

"Welcome was great. Staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely large room with super wet room. Breakfast was delicious and had a super view of the sea whilst eating. Area was busy but quiet both in our room and the dining area. We will most definitely visit again."

"Staff were lovely, as was breakfast and the bar. But the rooms and decor are the key feature of this hotel and certainly make it unforgettable. Our room and bathroom were not huge but more than adequate and comfortable. The theming of the rooms, corridors, stairways and bar area is amazing, thoughtful, creative and makes this hotel worth a stay for sure, as does the cheeky nature and sense of humour. We will likely be back just to try a different room! Thanks"

"Nicely decorated and very clean, cramped and cold though. In a fairly grubby part of town. Very overlooked by other buildings into room. Staff assistance was prompt but there is no in person presence. Quiet at night and good black out blinds. "

"Location great. Easy access. Not worth the money they ask. Smell of urine in stairwell. No hot water for shower in morning. Shower head coming off wall. Thick dust on bathroom towel rail. Stained carpet. Has potential, but clearly not checked for consistent level of quality. Disappointed "

Door codes worked as indicated, although knowing the bedroom door needed a key which was stored on the ground floor would've been good to know before climbing four flights of stairs. More like shared housing with individual rooms than a hotel - could hear all the plumbing and foot movements of the room next door. Fine for an overnight stay. "
