"Nice room. Staff are pleasant but not particularly welcoming.
Greeted by a screen at check in. Have to type in name, email address etc etc - was all a bit much at 11.00 at night.
This was after being ripped off by a taxi driver who charged us double from the airport (fare should be $20-$25 btw and apparently Uber is available if you follow the rideshare signs at the arrivals terminal - none of which was communicated to us by the hotel).
Wifi was coming and going in the morning. When I spoke to front desk he stated I was the only one to complain about it and threw his hands up like I was the problem. When I pressed further he offered to connect me with their external wifi providers to trouble shoot the problem! Like I was going to fix it for them!!
Went for a swim in their unheated pool. Was freezing but clean and fun. Gym was also tidy and clean but had fun out of water - replaced quickly when asked.
Staff member with most Rizz was the bloke in the restaurant / bar. Warm welcome when we arrived at breakfast which was nice and a stand out as rest of staff acted like we were work and they didn't want to be there."
