"The hotel is very nice and modern. Check-in was a little delayed, but the hotel did good by us by extending a late check-out on our departure day to make up for the delay. We were also originally put in a connecting room which was a little loud, but the hotel MOD Andy took really good care of us and moved us to another room which was perfect! Andy was fantastic. "Hotel Belleclaire is a beautiful, well-maintained, older New York hotel. The rooms have all the modern conveniences, yet maintain their character. Everything was very clean and in excellent working condition. Using the daily $10 voucher at the bakery to try all the exquisite pastries was a special treat. The 72nd and 79th subway stations, Natural History Museum, Central Park, and Bloomingdale's Outlet are in walking distance."

"Great location, super friendly staff, house keeping was fantastic and rooms were very clean. My only complaint of the room is that our shower door didn’t close all the way, so water did go all over the floor but easy clean up. There is no reason to charge a resort fee just because you can. Bar was cute and good drinks but not all bartenders were friendly. The elevators were very slow and during our stay, 3 of the 4 elevators were not working correctly. Overall great location and great stay."

"El hotel está muy bien ubicado y el personal es muy amable y atento. Las fotos del lugar no corresponde a la realidad, el cuarto donde estuvimos era muy viejo, olía muchísimo a humedad, las cortinas no servían y no podamos subirlas, estaba obscuro todo el cuarto, tenía muy poca luz, el sofá cama estaba muy incómodo, un día no hicieron el aseo del cuarto y no dieron ninguna explicación, también quisimos pagar una parte en efectivo y no lo aceptaron."

"I’ve stayed 3 times and find that the rooms are fairly spacious compared to other NYC hotels in the area. Staff are good though it’s somewhat self service hotel. Elevators bank has 4 elevators so not much waiting."

"The location of the hotel is tough to beat. Subway right around corner, also in the heart of the village. We stayed cause of proximity but were also surprised at how much we enjoyed the hotel itself. It’s older, but has a charm. Room size was nice, the AC worked great and shower was great. Staff were also super nice and helpful. Might be our new go to spot when we visit the city every year"
