"We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable.."

"The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again when travelling south . Although rooms a little dated, they were very spacious , clean and neutrally...

"Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast."

"Probably one of my favorite UK stays. I booked the morning of as a bit of a spur of the moment decision. The price was absolutely fantastic, the room that I got could not be beat. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. Jess the supervisor was an absolute gem. The food is great, if I’m ever in the area again I will absolutely be staying here. Can’t recommend it enough!"

"The room was somewhat clean but it really needs a modernisation. As soon as you entered the room, you’d get this old carpet smell that was unbearable. The bathroom was old and bath had many signs of black mould on the silicone and grouts. The sink tap leaked water. Breakfast was mediocre. We asked for a 4£ “specialty” flat white which we could tell right away was straight from a cheap coffee machine. Amenities were ok, the pool area is very tired as well.
