"I’m giving this place one star only because the location is excellent. Otherwise, I would not recommend staying here. First, our room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Second, the water pressure in the bathroom was terrible—the water was barely coming out, almost drop by drop. Finally, although the room was advertised as having a queen bed, it was squeezed between three walls with no space on one side. If the person sleeping against the wall needed to...

"I went with my daughter and we felt the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. My daughter went to the lobby at 3am with heartburn and the night concierge went out to the 711 to buy her some tums with his own money, so she wouldn't have to venture out in the night by herself. Everyone of the staff made our stay feel amazing!"

"The property was very maintained for it to be 100 years old. The rooms were slightly tight but they got the job done. The score of the entire hotel and rooms were a true vibe though, I’ll definitely stay there again!"

"Ham (valet manager) did an incredible job!! All of the staff did a great job! But Ham will be remembered forever! He made my daughter feel so special, and remembered it was her birthday weekend every time he saw her. He wouldn’t let anyone touch their own door, and made us feel like we stepped back in time to the most magical place. Whatever he is paid, he needs more. Thanks for showing us such a lovely weekend!"

"The Coner room for breakfast could use a little help. There were NO "snacks" as mentioned on hotel info cards...only fruit...apples and oranges. How about banannas?"

"Was very glad to use the laundry. One of the dryers accepted our credit card, but would not come on. Could not get a refund. Charge went through a 3rd party. Otherwise, stay was great! Breakfast was outstanding and well presented"
