"Fun stay at a neat old inn in a very convenient and lovely location, walking distance to good food and shopping. This is an older hotel that doesn’t have all the updated and most modern conveniences but if it did, it would be twice as expensive and I probably would not have stayed there. And it would probably lose some of its charm. "THERE WERE NO BEDBUGS. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN. THE TOILET WAS ALMOST ON THE FLOOR. THE ROOM WAS GOOD FOR OUR ONE NIGHT STAY. THE STAFF WAS NICE. THE BEST ACCOMODATION WAS THAT THEY SEPARATED GUESTS WITH UNOCCUPIED ROOMS. THERE WAS NO SMOKING IN THE ROOM BUT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SMOKE OUTSIDE WHICH WAS A NICE WAY OF RUNNING THE BUSINESS. "

"Window to our first floor room was broken and wouldn’t lock. Asked to change rooms and were able to, so that was good. Staff was generally friendly, and provided basic support. I should’ve lowered my expectations based on the fact that it’s an “inn”, but had high hopes based on the strong reviews. Rooms were dated and both rooms smelled.
