An excellent location, and easy walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and pubs. The breakfast room was very charming, and Anna made the most delicious breakfasts! A quiet, very comfortable b&b! Would highly recommend!

LOVED our stay in the cottage! It was so lovely, the breakfast was an amazing touch, and really enjoyed meeting Pickles the dog, as well as the cat! The cottage was just adorable and had such a lovely view of the canal (enjoyed our seating on the canal as well). The owner was very nice and friendly. Would stay here again!

This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast on a canal that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough to main attractions to be walkable. The breakfast is the standard mix of pastries and cold cuts, but the little touches such as an introductory beer and chocolates and the homey rooms really make this stand out from a hotel. If I ever get to go to Bruges again, I will definitely stay at Canal Deluxe B&B again.

Excellent friendly and centrally located hotel.

Great stay- lovely accommodation, spread over three floors with a garden terrace facing onto a small canal. Very centrally located, great breakfast, great hosts.

Unique room in historic building right on the canal. Beautifully decorated. So much character. Relaxing fire place. Nice outside area as well to include seating in courtyard. Great views of canal from the room. Tricky stairs as on three levels, so be careful if mobility issues.

Sehr schönes B&B, Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gaben uns einen Reiseführer, eine Stadtkarte und noch ein paar Tips. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich, lecker und alles war frisch. Wir hatten die Suite mit Blick auf den Fluss. Es war sehr geräumig, gemütlich und sauber. Mit drei Erwachsenen hatten wir reichlich Platz. Es gibt eine kleine Terrasse am Fluss, auf der man abends verweilen kann. Parkplatz ist vorhanden, zwei Minuten Fußweg, aber kostenpflichtig. Es war sehr ruhig, obwohl der Marktplatz auch nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist. Ein wirklich sehr schönes B&B. Wir würden immer wieder dort übernachten!

The perfect B&B

An absolutely fantastic experience, in every detail the room was perfect, accessories in the bathroom and an fantastic breakfast served at the room. Nice terrace right at the canal. We will for sure come back!

A perfect gem for a weekend getaway

The reason for our trip was to attend the Bruges' Beer Festival, and we therefore searched for a room within short walking distance from the festival location (i.e. in the city center). Finding Canal Deluxe was a lucky shot that gave us a quiet "bubble" in which to recover between sightseeing and beer tasting. Service was perfect, breakfast amazing, and the room itself (with a functional fire place!) was so pleasant that we ended up feeling that we had been on a retreat.

Very traditional building, with patio right next to the canal, with a short walk to the central market square. All rooms decorated differently. Breakfast room with real fire and food preparation in view, very clean. Modern bathroom facilities. We really enjoyed staying at this unique building. The staff and owner were very friendly and very helpful.

Honestly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Perfect location to walk to the city centre but remote enough not to be disturbed by it. The place itself was worth every penny, such an amazing setting with even better breakfasts! I think it was Maria (name escapes me as late writing review!) who made everything fresh on the day as well as welcomed us. She was fabulous, so helpful on where to go and anything else we may need. It's a small B&B so you aren't on top of one another with other guests - you only see them at breakfast. Both children loved the little alcove bed area and the room was a perfect size for 4 of us. I honestly can't recommend this place enough.

First trip to Bruges

Had a fantastic 4 night stay in Bruges at the Canal Deluxe bed and breakfast, our host Tine couldn’t have been more welcoming and the breakfast was very varied and extremely tasty, it certainly made for a perfect first trip to Bruges and I will definitely be coming back to the same place when I next return

Beautiful property spread over three floors. Air conditioned rooms that are spacious and uncluttered. A very comfortable bed with lovely white linen. The open fireplace was not needed for our weekend as the weather was glorious. The seating in the garden and on the back of the cottage looking onto the canal was great for hiding in the shade or sitting in the sun, whichever you prefer. Super staff and wonderful owner. Delicious breakfast was also an added bonus! Great location too, just a couple of minutes walk into the main square.

This place made our stay even more wonderful!

Lovely stay! We arrived with our 11 month old and dog and they couldn’t be more accommodating. Owner even offered to find a gate for stairs in the room. And our dog was welcome at breakfast to run and play with house dog which was great. Such a beautiful gem in a beautiful city!

Canal de luxe - truth of advertising

Sort of boutique hotel, clean, and not far from center, however the "small letters" made our staying not so good, there is no free parking as you can understand from the description in hotels.com, although I have my credit card and was ready that it will be charged on my arrival, the owner gets only cash! When I showed her the hotel page at Hotels.com she said that this happens all the time with this site. Of course we paid for the room and parking, she added a contemptuous assumption. It felt that she just want to say the last word.
