"Clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Suited me and my husband perfectly. Beautiful views. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. The stairs were a challenge for us, but we knew any house on the island would be. Hope to return. "

"Phoebe's Place was clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The three bedrooms and two full bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for our party of four. The full size washer and dryer was very useful. The fenced in yard is perfect for dogs although we didn't have ours with us."

"Was perfect for our short stay to attend a wedding. Very clean and quiet area. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The home is very clean, with comfortable beds, and is nicely furnished and decorated, with ample kitchen ware. We didn't go for the beach, but the causeway is very close for beach access. There is a unit next door but they are separated by a breezeway, so it was very private and quiet. A much better alternative to a hotel room - you've got a whole house! We did speak with the owner who is engaged and wants to make sure all is well at the house for...

"Yes, very comfortable and pet friendly"

"This home was beautifully decorated, clean and absolutely perfect for our long weekend away. Southport is one of our favorite vacay spots and this house made it even better! "

"Great house! No issues."

"Super clean, well furnished with everything you need, excellent WIFI, easy check in & will definitely return, as well as recommend to others."

"We loved our stay at the Beach Barn! Close enough to the beach that we could walk, but would recommend driving and parking at the beach. Close to places to eat. It’s a cute property and was perfect for the three of us"

"Had a great time. House was beautiful, like somewhere I could see myself living permanently. Everyone on Oak Island were welcoming and laid back. We enjoyed the local eateries and shopping especially the amount of antique stores in the area. Picture time by the pier at sunset is a must. "
