The ice machine is "temporarily" out of service, but the notice stating this looks like it had been up for a couple of months. They say the rates are lower for not having a pool anymore, and they offer to give you a refund if you don't want to stay - knowing that most people are not going to hassle with finding a new place and having to pay last-minute rates. "First thing, hot water is glorious, but parents beware - it is hot enough to steep tea or make ramen from the tap. =] Just be mindful w/ children. "The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to The beach with easy access. We rented bikes from the hotel and the island bike trail Is right off the property . We spent alot of the time at the pool and there were ample chairs and umbrellas and the foliage around the pool takes the experience to a higher level Chairs are located outside the rooms and we sat outside with coffee in the morning and there was never sun beating down on us"
