"This was the perfect hotel to stay at if you want to enjoy Bayeux and the regional sites like the D-Day beaches and Mont. St. Michel. The staff was lovely, room clean and the grounds were lovely. We spent one night sitting outside by the river that flows through the property. Highly recommend!!"

"The hotel location, staff, breakfast and room was really great. It was also a very secure building and parking was easy. I was upset that one of the beds duvet covers had a bad stain from a prior guest so we removed from the bed and did not use it. Other than that we had a great stay and the room size and bunkbeds worked well for our family."

"We had a wonderful stay at Ferme de la Rançonnière and would absolutely recommend it. The property is beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy landing beaches while still enjoying a quiet countryside setting. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also very good. "It was very hot and although we knew there was no air conditioning no fans were available and the rooms have shutters so it isn’t possible to block out the light and get air into the room at the same time. There was also a power cut early in the morning for over an hour but no one was available to speak too."
