"Desk folk were pleasant and helpful; our room was very clean! Complimentary breakfast pastries were fabulous! Two repair suggestions: bathtub drain needs tweaking; water went down before I could have a bath. Also, water leaks around sink faucets. Husband and I are glad we stayed- but it would have been respectful to tell us ahead of time that construction noise would be waking us at 8:00 am. Sincerely, Kathleen Donovan"

"The good: Beautiful high end hotel and room. Valet parking. It was renovated within the last 5 years. Staff was very very friendly. Beds were comfy. Food and drinks were good. Opportunity for improvement: We had a room on the third floor right next to a very loud ventilation system. "Unique hotel with lots of charm. Vintage furniture and decorations made it feel like we stepped back in time. We somehow ended up in the Governor's Suite which had a sitting room with a hot tub, a small balcony, 2 sinks and a fireplace. Everything was clean, and there were toiletries provided.
