This place was awful the staff were disgustingly rude worst place that I actually have ever rented at. From barging into my room at 7:00 in the morning yelling get out because I had a balance of $7 from the previous day to me walking by the front desk and one of the employees mocking me asking if I'd called motel 6 is corporate yet to complain on him and what name I used because he wouldn't give me his name. I don't know who from motel 6 corporate bought this place and turned it into studio 6 and motel 6 but they need one of the worst mistakes probably in your guys's history because this place is God awful top five worst places I've ever had the not pleasure of visiting.

First impressions is everything. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. The shower head was really filthy. The toilet base leaked onto the floor after flushing.

we checked in about noon and checked back out about 9 pm as we did not feel safe, it was loud with people yelling at each other, dogs barking, cats meowing, kid crying. We did not feel safe. We also had a strange noise going off in our room in the toilet about every 15 minutes which would have kept us up all night and the kids wanted to use the pool but it was so disgusting we did not even go inside the fence as it smelt so strongly of marijuana and the people inside the fence looked very sketchy.

At the start, after giving my name and drivers license to the front desk, they seemed confused about the booking. For a minute I started worrying if it had actually gone through. One of the worse feelings to have after a long day traveling. I had to give multiple details to get them to confirm I had a booking with them. There are no elevators, and so had to carry bags all the way upstairs, when there were tons of free rooms downstairs. I asked for a change, and the desk was happy to make that accommodation. Then there was so much noise at 4am we couldn't sleep. It felt like the walls were super thin. The linen was dirty. As soon as we walked in, there is a blanket there was hair and dirt on it. The bed linen seemed clean, but after closer inspection there was splotches of stuff all over the linen, and the pillows didn't seem perfectly clean. The bathroom towels smelled, so we used our own beach towels as we didn't trust them. A few hair balls were on the shower lining. Not the best, but it sufficed for just a few days to get cheap accommodation. Will try another venue next time. A drunk guy was out in the parking lot screaming as soon as we got there. Wasn't a nice feeling with kids being with us at the time. Was on edge a bit staying there.

would not stay here again

The shower was terrible no water pressure. No remote for the tv. No clog for the bathtub to take a bath. Damage to walls. Prior guest items were still in the room.

This motel is not called The Berry Inn anymore, it’s a Motel 6 now. Literally the nastiest motel I’ve ever been to. The staff was great and helpful, but the property was in disrepair. All of the towels, linens, pillows, walls, floor had stains (blood, dirt, and god knows what else). The towels were so thin that one drop of water would soak it. The shower head water pressure was horrible! It would take a while to wash off the shampoo and soap off us. The beds were really uncomfortable and noisy. Any movement would make a metallic squeaking noise that would keep us away like a cricket singing away. The showers from the other rooms could be heard in our room at all hours of the evening. There is dog poop and pee all over the property. There were some people in the hotel with aggressive dogs that lunged at my children when walking by. I believe they live at the motel because the dog poop around the property looked really old along with a lot of fresh ones. The only good thing about this property is the closeness to Knotts berry farm.

RUN!

The room is not like it is portrayed in the pics. It is slightly shabbier and the beds are very uncomfortable and do not have proper blankets. The hotel is a Motel 6, not The Berry Inn. The guests that stay are very questionable. I was not able to get proper sleep as there was a drunk or psychotic gues down the hall screaming at all hours. I called front desk and nothing was done. The customer service from the guy Gio when i complained was horrible. Very dismissive. I would NOT recommend

Good for the night

Pros: Walking distance to knotts berry farm Easy to find Cons: We had a long drive then they could figure out our destination. We had to pay again so my daughter could get in a pee. (They did refund next day) The comforter was a decorated sheet and provided no warmth. They told us the pool was open, it was not. The pool was green and had randon items at the bottom of it. Coffee machine was down. It provided us what my family needed for our 1.5 day stay. If we were spending any extended length of time we would look for more amentities

Pool was not maintained- green slim throughout. The name of the place had changed and it was now a Motel 6 and was not on par with other Motel 6's that I've stayed at before.
