This is a charming property in the Cotswold's that is sure to please. Close to the downtown and walkable. We enjoyed the breakfast and pubs close to the town.

A wonderful old pub in a fantastic location just off the main street going through Burford. A lovely room which we enjoyed, but the staff just felt a but distant, making errors with drinks. Food presentation lacked flair and lacked imagination. In summary, a great room but eat elsewhere to enjoy it best.

Check-in was very straightforward and our room (Alium) was excellent - spacious and with very comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was also excellent . Highly recommend this hotel/room and will definitely stay again.

Very cute and cozy hotel in a beautiful old property, much like the rest of the town. It feels like a truly authentic Cotswolds place to stay, with plenty of old-world charm and character. The building is definitely old, but it is fairly well maintained. The floors were creaky, although luckily we didn’t hear any external noise from our room, so we slept well. There was also street parking available, which was very convenient. The breakfast was definitely a highlight; we really enjoyed it. Overall, a charming and authentic Cotswolds experience.

We stayed in the priory room, lovely, clean, good size We parked at the bay tree hotel as no parking on sheep street or priory lane but that was absolutely no problem as it’s a sister hotel. The food was amazing, garden area so lovely and relaxing, I would recommended this place to anyone visiting the area Cotswold wildlife park was only a few minutes drive away and couldn’t have been simpler

It was a very quirky stay. Room had lovely molton brown amenities and was clean but not quiet. We booked last minute and had a dog but were allocated on the first floor which made it difficult to let the dog out. No duty night manager so I had to take my dog out the back garden unbolt the door and bolt it back again. Very quaint nice staff I just would have preferred a ground floor room for my pooch.

We love the Lamb and this was the second time we have stayed. Excellent service from very helpful and friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble. Bedroom was very well decorated and appointed. Lovely to have dinner in the garden - food was excellent. Will definitely be back

We booked the Allium room. I can honestly say it’s the most beautifully decorated, comfortable bright room we have ever stayed in. Soaker tub in huge bathroom wonderful. Courtney and other staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast full English included. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Lovely independent shops on the high street and at the bottom a beautiful church & tea rooms. Staff in The Lamb Inn went out of their way to make sure our mid week break was relaxing & enjoyable.
