"Really cool place to stay and the breakfast was great. They had the normal grab and go stuff and a hot breakfast included in the price. They even made sure to ask if I was vegan or not. It’s the first hotel I’ve staying in a while where the room had a bed and pillows that were perfect, a shower that was perfect, and actual tv channels so we could watch a movie at night. Staff were super friendly and helpful. "

"Had such a wonderful stay. Hosts were lovely. The building and rooms were amazing. I don’t think the photos do it justice. Breakfast cooked to order was one of the best I’ve had. Much nicer than staying in a generic hotel and at a similar price. It really is the place to stay if you’re in Elgin."

"Very good hotel in a good central location in Elgin. Check-In and Check Out were quick and straightforward and the room I had was comfortable with a large shower. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice bar with a good menu. Breakfast was very good as well."

"The room was clean. However, we decided not to stay as we did not feel safe. The door has a very weak lock and access from the street up to the rooms is open to anyone. Also, the en suite bathroom and toilet door did not close or lock. "

"Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay! "

"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "This place was very lovely. Very quiet and private. Super clean and the owner communicated very well over message. The only downside was that the website did not state you have to pay extra for pillows, bed sheets, and towels. For travelers that don’t bring this stuff be prepared to pay extra on top of the cost. Other than that the place was very nice. Wi-Fi only works outside the pod too unless you are staying in one of the closer pods like pod 1 or 2. "
