"Stayed in the Queen Charlotte room. Very clean and modernized place to stay. Probably the best shower in a hotel/b&b ever. Large bathroom with counter space for toiletries. Large soft towels. The room has dishes and glasses, silverware, coffee and tea, and a mini fridge. It was very comfortable. When we come back to Edinburgh, will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone."

"On arrival, we were welcomed by the lovely Erika, who gave us a tour of the grand suit ‘The Robertson’ which was a stunning suit!! luxurious in every way, with a huge bedroom Space, separate kitchen & Bathroom area! Personal touches were fantastic, with the most beautiful hand wash & lotion, with the matching shampoo & conditioner & body wash. Erika had even provided the same brand of bubble bath so we could enjoy a nice relaxing bath after a long day walking in Edinburgh. The fresh bread...

"Stay here regularly. We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. Great hotel, but I would choose the basic room in future as the upgraded...

"Everything about Balmoral was awesome except one thing. Loud music playing until 11:50pm, so the kids couldn't sleep. I tried to say something and they said it would be over by 11:30pm but it wasn't. It was a shame given the price you pay. Otherwise though, people were lovely, breakfast was great, they had a cute Easter hunt with a prize at the end. Swimming pool was good."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Resident as it was well located to what we had planned and the staff was quite pleasant. However, as far as value - we felt the room to be small for the price paid. We also felt the bathroom tub was quite dangerous to get in and out of — as one had to step very far up and INTO it without a bar to hold or a proper door. "The location was perfect… close to coffee shops and restaurants, easy walking distance to the tram and airport transportation. The front desk staff were always so kind and helpful. The amenities in the room were plentiful and clean. Should be rated with higher stars and have more reviews as this was the best place to stay for our week in Edinburgh. Will come back again!"
