"We stayed in the Chickadee cabin. It is a pretty new cabin and very nicely appointed kitchen. However, the description on Expedia is a bit off. It says it’s a “lake view” cabin. It is not. It’s a short walk to the lake. It also said it had a queen bed, but it has a queen bed in the bedroom plus a twin bunk bed in the hallway and two twin mattresses in the loft, so basically it can sleep six people. Two other cabins are basically the same layout. These are really nice cabins. Sparrow and Nuthatch do have lake views. It’s a pretty big resort with about 15 cabins of various sizes. My only complaint is no hairdryer. I would have brought my own, but Expedia said they were provided. I’m sure if I’d have asked George for one he would have gotten us one. George and Jackson were both very nice and always helpful. We definitely enjoyed our stay at Timber Trail Lodge."
