"I liked so much of it. Draw back for me as a 62 yr old woman travelling alone was the dining experience. Both at dinner and breakfast I was put in the middle of the room where I felt vulnerable. "The hotel is in a great location and enjoys a lovely reception with bar area and amazing views over lake Windermere. The staff are super friendly and the spa is just great. Food was excellent having eaten evening meal and breakfast with all cooked fresh to order. Recommend and will stay again"

"The hotel is a very short distance from the M6, which makes it an ideal stop over. The accommodation was really comfortable with lovely restaurant and bar facilities. We were made most welcome by all members of staff. Food was well prepared and nicely presented. Will definitely pass details of this place to family and friends."

"Clean room 21 thank you. Taps could be improved. Flush mechanism in toilet poor. Requires new fill valve to allow correct amount of water in to give a reliable flush. Not good for 2 days stay!"

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room with ensuite. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. Great choice at breakfast, including those, like me, who only want a continental breakfast. We dined in the attached restaurant both nights and the food, and service, was very good. We arrived by bicycle and safe storage was provided. All in all great value for money and highly recommended."
