"On check in , I was greeted by a very friendly chap. Answered my questions effectively. I had booked one of the upgraded rooms. Nice design, very clean, comfortable mattress. Be warned that rooms are quite small. Even sitting down on the toilet can be cramped ! Breakfast is satisfactory. Just continental. I have enjoyed much better but it is only £9 and you can eat all you can ! The Lady tidying up the plates and ensuring stock levels were good, on my second morning was not the usual and she wasn't quite as approachable or helpful. I paid quite a high price for my two nights but I do like this hotel, especially for its location. Only 10/15 minutes walk to bull ring / new street station. And staff generally better than many places. Parking is limited due to refurbishment work, so arrive early if you can !!!"

"Excellent choice for where to stay for the Nottingham Tennis and to pick up my child from Nottingham University halls. Everything worked a treat. Child was less than 5 minutes away so I could say hi, drop off a takeaway and load up the car for end of year departure. In between all this, I enjoyed a beautiful walk to the tennis, uber'd back for under £6, enjoyed cocktails and a delicious posh meal at the hotel restaurant, who also do a useful buffet breakfast in the mornings. I used the small in house gym which perfectly suited my needs. Next time I might try the bigger A grade uni centre which is a very short walk away. Staff were friendly. Reception, restaurant, cleaning team, behind the bar. Everyone! At the front desk my room check out was extended without a quibble. I'm just pleased I found this place for what is sure to become an annual event. 😀"
