"Wonderful staff and location in a small Hampshire village. Much local D-Day preparation history. Food was great excellent."

"We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again."

"The pub was pleasant and lively and we enjoyed a good dinner. The room was on the small side but it had all the amenities we needed. The breakast was freshly cooked and excellent."

"Lovely stay at the inn. Was a late booking to break up the journey but the staff were welcoming and the accomadation was perfect. The pub is obviously very popular but the accomadation is set back and there was no noise despite it being a busy Friday night"

"I loved having a bath to soak in after my long journey. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food great, the room neat and tidy and a good size. I'm definitely coming back here. "

"Bed was comfortable but pillows were rock hard. Shower pressure and hot excellent. Biggest downfall was that you paid for parking per day. Dinner was reasonable price. "
