"I stayed for one night, as I had an early morning flight. You could see the hotel from the arrival hall. The direction to the hotel is well marked. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Terminal 1, which made the morning check-in process stress free. The hotel staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have an indoor swimming pool, which I really enjoyed after a train trip in a hot afternoon. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is pretty good. The air conditioning works well...

"Across from the train station and a fairly short walk to City Center, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are slightly small but comfortable and the staff was extremely kind."

"Room was clean. Included breakfast had hot items including bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and beans. There was also yoghurt, cereal, croissants, muffins and juices. Coffee machines were excellent. I had a couple pints at the bar in the evenings and they were reasonably priced too. Bed was comfortable. Air-conditioning was excellent. A little far away from the city centre but there is a bus stop called the Parkway right on the other side of the tram tracks."

"Lovely hotel. Stayed with my wife for her birthday. We had a deluxe room which was quite a long walk from hotel reception. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was massive! Only negative points for the room were the amount of cobwebs and dust around light fittings and soundproofing between rooms. We could clearly hear people in other rooms using their toilet facilities. We used the pool which was warm and changing room was clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was superb, there is loads of...

"Stayed here for 3 nights, no house cleaning, no fresh linen, no fresh towels, hotel does not accept cash, bar closed quite early, very over priced for food, beer, tea or coffee, I was charged £26.60 for 2 very small brioche rolls with rasher and egg and 2 small cappuccinos. Would not recommend and won’t stay again 😡"

"Clean close to airport"

"Booked for a quick overnight ahead of travelling through Manchester airport. The hotel is old and dated, in need of an update. The heat was unusually for the time of year and they had huge air con units in reception to help. Most annoying thing was the car park was full. Had to drive around local area to find a space. Not ideal. It was ok for a night. Room was ok. Fan in room and tv worked."

"It’s an old building with wonky floors and doorways which is charming in its own way. There are clear signs of ongoing maintenance that will improve the look & feel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff worked very hard, both check in and check out were a breeze and staff super friendly. The only draw back was the creakiest bed ever, the slightest twitch from one of us and we were both awake. It was a 1 night stay so not a real issue but couldn’t have put up with it for a longer stay."
