"Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable with plenty of towels and bathroom amenities. Breakfast had many choices for food and drinks so there was something for everyone. Literally right off the thruway and close to shopping and eating choices it was a great location. A+"

"Closeness to the airport was convenient"

"I usually stay with a different hotel chain, but this was much cheaper so we booked it. I did not have high expectations. The place was clean, friendly and on par with everyone else. I would stay here again. We used the shuttle to and from the airport and that went flawless. There are jets going over. They are low enough that the pressure wave moves the curtains slighty. . Pretty funky but I did planes so I slept just fine."

"The light in the bathroom was both broken casting only a dark orange light. You could not see to shave or do makeup. Upon turning on the shower spray would be onto the floor owing to the fact that the shower head was not tightly attached to the pipe. We immediately advise the front desk of the light issue and the leak. They advised that no repair could be made until the next day. The next morning the person at the front desk was unaware of our complaint and filed a new complaint on our behalf...

"Unfortunately they were paving the parking lot so we had to park way out back and bring our luggage in through the back way . Just a long walk and hard to roll suitcases through a dirt parking lot ! The staff was apologetic and We understood that there was really nothing they could do about it . The breakfast was adequate but wish they offered yogurt, English muffins/bagels as choices for those who don’t like waffles, sausages, or scrambled eggs. "We were excited to visit the Avon Inn and it exceeded our expectations. It is a delightful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, with a comfortable bed and in room gas fireplace. The co-owner Jen was lovely to speak to and the history of the hotel is fascinating. Special shoutout to the awesome pool table in the lobby - it is an awesome statement piece and a great use of the space to socialize being right next to the restaurant. We did not get to try the restaurant but the menu...

"Large king bedded room with easy chair and ottoman. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower. The free breakfast was a “full” breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, fruit and pastries. So much better than a limited service hotel with small rooms and questionable breakfast. And, priced lower than the typical “name brand” select service hotels on highway exits. Enjoyed my stay!"
