"the place is fairly new looking loved the room set up disappointed w the pool... water was green:( had to travel to hotel next door to have breakfast i assumed the price for the room included breakfast, Paid the 15 euros, translates to 25 dollars canadian, breakfast was not worth the value, there are several supermarkets nearby w breakfast at a significantly cheaper price."

"The room was very clean, also, beds very comfortable, it’s a good size room and bathroom. Just a little issue due to the shower floor that doesn’t drain the water properly because it is on the first floor as explained by staff."

"Hotel Timbre Virtudes is a classic, beautifully decorated with history and modern comfort. It's conveniently located, about 10 minutes walking distance to the Douro River front. The room is comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Timbre Virtudes and stay there next time in Porto."

"If using the indoor pool, bring a swim cap and flip flops so you don’t need to purchase them. Otherwise, great stay just outside of Porto. We used Bolt to get around during our stay."

"Great location and easy to get to main attractions. Clean room, decent size, comfortable bed, but was a street level room so could be a bit noisy at times. Staff were really helpful. A few things to improve on - we asked for slippers and bathrobe and were told these were in the room but weren’t (these were brought to us quickly though), the steps to the pool were unstable so we didn’t use it and we weren’t told we had to ask to use the sauna an hour in advance so didn’t use that either. "Stayed at the Arts Hotel on two separate occasions over a two week period with the location proving ideal for our requirements. On both occasions we received a friendly welcome from the front office team with effective, efficient and smooth check-ins, nothing was to much bother for them and they dealt with any issues or enquiries we had speedily and effectively. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, especially after spending 12 days walking the Camino Portuguese, this was the only hotel ...
