"This was my first trip alone. Sadly my husband passed away in December. Whilst dining I was sat next to a couple who were given preferential treatment. I was feeling quite vulnerable anyway and was just ignored. Everyone should receive the same treatment. Also my meal was very poor."

"Interior has been done really well, in keeping with the grade 2 listing. Overnight stop or max 2 days stay ok. Otherwise it's a bit basic. I did not like how run down the outside was. Pipes looking ancient and covered in bird poo and close to air conditioning unit is concerning. Some of the sash windows need replacing. Parking is £7 a night but not run by hotel but quite a bit for this. Car park at rear needs the seating revisited as the furniture is falling apart, should be somewhere you can...
