"The bed was so comfortable!"

"Very clean, updated hotel with comfortable beds and bathroom. Inn was located over their pub/restaurant which was not a problem. In fact, the pub served excellent food including a delicious fresh salad and wood-fired pizza. We had to check out too early to enjoy what looked like a top notched breakfast, so the kind manager compensated us with reduced price for dinner. Very nice experience."

"We have just returned from a very enjoyable family holiday in Ireland, with Grandma and her children (7 of us in total). Country View, Glennafosha, Tuam was the ideal base for us in exploring Galway, Westport, Clifden, Ballina, Mullingar etc. The 5 bed house was also ideal in having a downstairs double bedroom and adjacent Bathroom, for Grandma. And, it is exactly as it is promoted in Dara & Lorraine's photos on the Hotel.com website. Modern, spacious, very comfortable, fully equipped - we had plenty of space for the several family members to relax and enjoy our stay. And Dara & Lorraine were the perfect hosts - very responsive when the area Internet went down in the house (it went down for the entire area, not just Glennafosha). Highly recommended, we would definitely stay again."

"Great breakfast, lovely hotel and amazing staff"

"Beautiful hotel, stayed 5 or 6 times in past 7-8 yrs. Always very good. We did have an unfortunate incident with a bar meal the first night which I have notified the hotel directly about. I will say it was nothing to do with the service or bar staff They were great. The room we had was on the 5th floor. Very spacious with lovely bathroom and jacuzzi. The view from the wrap around, floor to ceiling, corner windows was fantastic. Total peace and quiet - which is about the important feature to us. Parking is always busy but never a problem. Breakfast can be very busy at peak times. Again the service is excellent. Generally the cooked breakfast is lovely. The exception being the scrambled eggs which did not taste or feel authentic I would still stay any time and recommend this hotel to others."

"Great food and staff"

"We stayed here for one night with friends and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The facilities were also excellent. Unfortunately, our experience at dinner let things down slightly. One of the meals (a double smash burger) was completely inedible and was returned, yet it still appeared on the final bill and was charged in full. This was raised at the time and should have been removed. We were also told during a conversation about tipping that staff do not receive tips and that there is no point in leaving one. If this is the case, it’s quite disappointing and not something guests would expect. Overall, a nice hotel and an enjoyable stay, but these issues did take away from what would otherwise have been a great experience."
