"A bit of a disappointment for what we paid and for what looked like a special location in a beautiful building . Our room was just about as far away from reception and the hotel amenities as you could get. We were cleaned around and our table laid up for the next sitting before we had finished our breakfast . My husband was then hoovered around while he waited in reception. I know we’re old but we’re people and not invisible! We gave the feedback to the receptionist who was polite and...

"I have stayed in other pet friendly hotels but the room I stayed in just smelt like damp dog really badly. The check in was ridiculous, there was 1 person on check in, she was on the phone to a future guest for 20 minutes before we could check in - not her fault at all but other staff came to the desk and didn't help."

"The hotel was situated in town centre. Walkable to the river, local attractions and restaurants.
We had a lovely stay and they have a small spa located next door which we used one morning.
We did not eat breakfast there so unable to comment on food, the rooftop bar was lovely for drinks.
Our door was difficult to open but staff were helpful and efficient."
