"Set in stunning grounds I wasn’t sure what to expect from the interior. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The spa is very nice the changing rooms were adequate you need £1 coin for the locker but the pool and treatment rooms were very nice. The sun loungers were a little tired and worn and they are very close to the ground so getting in and off them can be somewhat tricky. "The breakfast was fantastic, fabulous choice of food and juices; staff were so helpful and attentive.
Spa was a welcome treat, after a day of exploring the city; again, staff in spa were so helpful.
Room, as rest of hotel, was spotless. The windows were rather old and hard to open ( to air the bathroom, after a shower), but the building is relatively old.
The private parking was expensive, but only a short walk from the hotel and we knew the car was safe and secure.

"Very enjoyable short break in Torquay. Hotel was very nice, comfortable and the facilities in the spa and pool exceptional.
Only slight criticism is that we found the menu for dinner in the restaurant quite restrictive with no specials available. Food was fine but options not great.
Would definitely return to hotel but wouldn't have evening meal there again."

"Wonderful location and dining experience. The odd niggle including issue with elderly mothers room, requested walk in shower but on arrival given a room with bath. It was quickly sorted however. The room was fine for one night but the sash window was faulty and wouldn’t stay open. Overall highly recommended "

"We had a deluxe room with a patio. The room was large, but very dated and with stains and scuffs throughout. The patio was private (we weren't aware of that) so our bedroom opens up directly onto a shared patio which meant we couldnt have our curtains open to admire the view. The coffee machine was missing from our room as well.
The spa was nice, but very small. It was overcrowded when we went with people queuing inside the spa for beds / steam room, and also queuing to access the spa.
