"Lighting is strange. Amenities were not that good. Housekeeper threw away a box FULL of medical devices that I needed and then denied it. That wasn’t good. Coffee maker was not clean. Towels were thin. But great location. Large room. Nice owners with cute dogs… breakfast was OK and we never used the Spa so cannot comment on that. Overall it was “fine”."

"This was a lovely property on a small canal, not facing across from Venice. It had a wonderful included breakfast. It was convenient to the vaporetta stop. The only thing missing was the air conditioning. It had not been turned on for the season yet. "

"The Hotel feels like part of history, it is so iconic - so many famous people (good & bad) have stayed there. The arrival at the Hotel as you approach on a motor launch is unique. Every member of staff are courteous and friendly - more than happy to help. Food & drinks are pricey but the Breakfast on the terrace in the morning - what a treat looking over the ocean across the beach. Room was great and we had a welcome bottle of wine on arrival.
