We visited for my partners birthday and the staff kindly decorated the room ahead of time as well as arranging for a bottle to be on ice on arrival in the room as an optional paid for extra. The receptionist on check-in (Sunday late evening after 11) was incredibly warm and friendly. I’m afraid I didn’t catch her name but she mentioned having worked at the hotel for 3 years. "We are really selective when it comes to travel. We had the suite (Room 409), directly outside the pool entrance. The hotel was brilliant. Great location. Great food. Gym and Sauna was empty when i used it everyday. The Cinema was no longer in operation, which we did'nt know until we asked to use it. Layout of the hotel is great and really great location to the city and old town. First time with HM and was really impressed."
