Hostel di Canterbury

"I thought much easyer to use kitchen than other hostel in the city center. supermarket was much near than one in the city center one."

"The room was fine, kitchen as well and the hot tub was awesome. But the place and the staff were in somehow unfriendly mood, which ruined the stay. Many objects at the hostel had warnings: "If you touch this, you'll get fine ..." and the fines were unreasonably high. The announced latest check-in time was 6 p.m. But after finishing the booking an automated message came saying the latest check in time is 5 p.m. So I contacted the hostel and said that I'm not sure if I can make it until this time....

"What a disgrace of a business!! Upon arrival, we couldn't get anyone to answer the door. I saw a notice on one of the doors that said call this number for assistance, so did that, and it went to voicemail. We were outside in -3 deg weather for 3 quarters of an hour trying to get in. Staff were not hospitable at all, acted like we were an inconvenience, and that's putting it mildly. Room was freezing cold with an ineffective wall heater that did nothing. Bed was hard as the floor, and one cotton...

"The only thing was that I was used to a firmer mattress. And maybe an extra pillow would have been helpful."
