The rooms are well proportioned with kitchenette, bathroom and in our case, balcony looking toward Mt John. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7 but near checkin time (3pm). Staff were very conscious to advise us to read the in-room directory, which we wished we had, especially as it advised guests of the air raid siren, located across the spill way on the fire station to alert...
