"Family trip, 2 kids (7&5), kids loved the pool, especially the small pool, free boogie boarding, kids enjoyed activities (making necklaces, clay things, painting, bingo). Staff for the most part were friendly and helpful. Food was pretty good at all 3 locations on site. I think music at the pool could be a little louder, seems like it was only loud enough for those at the pool bar, and maybe more pool activities for adults. Beach was clean and great for the kids to see stingrays riding in the waves, and BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS. Rooms were very clean, good A/C, good coffee. We would comeback, we had a great time."

"It was a beautiful resort but you definitely have to walk far. I wish there were carts to drive you back and forth as we were the farthest building from the food and to take our luggage was a little hard"

"Hands down the best resort. They staff was so friendly. I felt safe and welcomed. They did not ask for tips or make me feel like I had to give. I felt welcomed and was said hello by everyone. The food was good. It truly was a Pura Vida. I will go back again for sure. I highly recommend staying here. I left feeling peaceful and wanting to see more and so more. I am thankful to be blessed the opportunity to experience paradise."

"Tons of activities, great pools. The bar staff in particular was a standout- Rizo at Filadelfia and all the guys at Tamarindo. Don’t sleep on the live music at tamarindo before you go to dinner. It’s fantastic and underrated. The spa is expensive but worth it. Careful if you have a bee allergy! At least in shoulder season- the bees are (no exaggeration) abundant. I was a solo woman traveler and not only did I feel totally safe, but I met lots of great people, both among my fellow guests and the staff."

"The restaurant was good for dinner, not a la carte breakfast which was so-so and overpriced. There were things advertised for that were not available like all day coffee and tea; room service; inability to bill your room for food in the restaurant. The gift shops were great. The room could have been better. There was no microwave nor an amoir to hang coats and put away clothes. Rewards amount wasn't given or clear. The concierge was helpful in recommending other tours that her company couldn't provide and the people were super friendly."
