"We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. If you love wildlife

"This place was amazing! The rum was clean but average. No air conditioning but with the window open, fan, and dehumidifier it was very tolerable. The amazing part. .the staff and wildlife! Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond to assist. Every morning and afternoon the spider monkeys came by the patio. So many birds and other wildlife to see just walking the grounds. If you love seeing wildlife then this is the place for you! "

"Our stay at this property was even better than I expected! The grounds are magical. Sitting on our private porch looking out at the beautiful view of the volcano is something I will never forget. Every single staff member we encountered was so kind and professional. Breakfast was truly amazing and again a beautiful view. I wish we had stayed longer."

"First time visiting Costa Rica, had to find a place to stay bc the hotel we booked was 4 hours away from all of the activities that my wife booked and paid for… stayed for the night and had a fantastic experience, from friendly staff to very clean room and delicious food… thank you!!
