"Kids voted this the best place we stayed! They enjoyed having their own private mezzanine complete with bean bags and games. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Basic supplies like coffee and cooking oil provided do you can easily self cater. "

"House and the overall property was very good with excellent views. Had good clean linen and towels. It would have been good if they had left few Kitchen paper rolls and had a dish washer installed. The main problem we faced was that the Jacuzzi never worked for the whole two days that we were at the property. While the host (Alex) was very responsive and tried to get it to work, it never worked, this was a big let down. "

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"When we arrived the host said he did not have our reservation. The gate was locked. The number on the listing was not an accurate number. It took messaging Expedia to get a new number and the owner did not answer that number. He did respond to Expedia and finally reached out on WhatsApp. They came and cleaned while we were waiting to enter. The pictures on the listing are from probably 10 years ago - the home needs some repairs and maintenance. Faucets are loose, no hot water in the downstairs...
