Location was fantastic and beautiful classic hotel with helpful staff. The pool/garden arrangement is odd and dated (and costs €30 a day if not included) not being able to access the promenade directly from the hotel was frustrating - a huge missed opportunity for them not to open all that up as restaurant/bar - I would flip the pool to the terrace! Anyway it was good and would go again

Really nice hotel in a great location, don't fool yourself into thinking you can walk there with you case from the station though - It's not far but it's a massive hill. The staff throughout could not be more helpful and friendly, they really make the stay. The only thing is that it is very expensive, breakfast is CHF40 and diner at any of the hotel's restaurants is very expensive (but also very nice!!). There are plenty of good alternatives within an easy walk though. I would highly recommend...

Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. However, staff were able to move us to a different room for our second night which was appreciated. Hotel and restaurant were full on Christmas Eve. I was...

The property's historical significance was evident, creating a captivating atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our experience was delightful.
We appreciated their assistance in finding a great restaurant and their insightful recommendations for exploring the city.
They also provided us with a complimentary travel ticket for the town, making our sightseeing very nice and easy.

Upon arrival at the hotel the reception staff were welcoming and this made for a lovely entrance to our break away. The team members were wonderfully helpful throughout our stay and really strived to make us have a special experience within the hotel.
The restaurant staff were equally good and really went the extra mile to make our time eating very special.

A lovely historic hotel in the heart of Lausanne. The hotel is in an attractive old building but the rooms are stylish, modern and very well equipped. Because of environmental regulations they do not have air conditioning but our room had a very effective fan which was more than sufficient. Excellent breakfast choices and very friendly reception and waiting staff. The location is very convenient if you are using public transport being near the Flon metro station and just one stop from the main...

I booked the Royal Savoy to celebrate both my birthday and wedding anniversary. The hotel has recently had a major refurbishment after being closed for 5 years. The style is nouveau chic with the standard of service in the hotel being excellent. The staff are very attentive but not overly so. The room we had was a deluxe, which is the entry level, but given the prices was what we could afford. That said it was very comfortable with walk in shower, ipad controlled audio, and the standard you...

Loved this hotel, a very luxurious feel to it. Rooms were spacious and we had an adjoining room which was just as large and even had a bath and shower. It is situated quite high up, so would be quite a climb if not too fit, however there is a free travel pass in Lausanne (and in Switzerland) that you will be given for metro, buses and trains.
We had the buffet breakfast which was tasty and set us up for the day.
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and gave us advice on what to see...

For a quiet retreat, with walks its perfect.
Such a quiet sanctuary, super friendly staff and people.
There is a small chaet 2 minute walk away for dining, I recommend.
