"Quite big family room with two bathrooms, one of them was even outside with only cold water. Early in the morning we could hear howler monkeys from nearby forests. Host Maria was very kind and helpful."

"No AC, loud noises from street (lots of motorcycles), loud music from lobby (karaoke machine?), bed with no blanket (only top sheet), and bathroom out of TP and paper towels. However, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Decent storage in room closet. Area is secure (garage door and front door locked at night). Had a private room for 4 and it did the trick for a 1 night stay before early flight but otherwise would be rough. "

"The absolute warmest people - that's what stood out to me the most. It's such a treat to get to sit at the breakfast table with Laurie, to hear her stories of a life well lived and to share my own. The breakfast was outstanding, made with love by Miriam who is so gentle and kind. The B&B is clean, cozy and well located. I took a long stroll around the neighborhood which was lush and quiet. An overall excellent experience. "

"Wir hatten ein kleines, einfaches Zimmer, dass für eine Nacht ausreichend war. Es gibt auch größere Zimmer, für längere Aufenthalte. Das Haus liegt eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Garten inkl. eigener Kaffeeplantage. Ein schmaler Fluss umgeben von Bäumen grenzt direkt an. Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und geht auf alle Fragen und Bitten ein. Wir haben selbstgemachtes Mangoeis bekommen, sowie einen selbstgemachten Saft aus Cas-Früchten. "Pierre, our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omelette while watching birds at the feeding stations. The gardens were very enjoyable. Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance. "

"1.Rooms were not well maintained. Wall had broken paint, looked dirty and smelly. 2. It doesn’t have Air conditioning, so it’s was very difficult to sleep. Fan provided wasn’t good enough as it was very warm inside. 3. Breakfast is terrible. In fact I wouldn’t call it a Breakfast (2 breads and a coffee) 4.Limited/No parking, you will have to park on road. Felt a bit unsafe as it’s adjacent to downtown San Jose I wouldn’t recommend as you can get better hotel Options at the same price. "
