"We recently stayed at the Hyatt Ziva and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The entire property was spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Even though it rained on most days, in true Caribbean fashion it never lasted long, and we still enjoyed plenty of time at the beach and pool. The staff did a great job keeping everyone entertained despite the weather. The water park was fun, clean, and never crowded, and the resort overall felt peaceful during our stay (we traveled in the slower season). Although we didn’t use the gym this time, it’s one of the most impressive we’ve seen at any resort — spacious and well equipped. Every staff member was friendly and professional, but Mariokely by the pool, Sol from the kids club, Luis at the buffet meat station, and Gemelin at the buffet truly made our trip special with their kindness and attention. If I could suggest small improvements, I’d love to see fresh fruit mixes for drinks instead of concentrated ones, and maybe smaller batches of fried items at the buffet so they stay hot and crispy. Also, having the coconut station a few times a week — we missed it during our 5-day stay. Overall, we had an amazing time and can’t thank everyone enough. We’ll definitely be back.
