"John the owner was a terrific host, and prepared delicious home-made breakfasts. The 'Jean Harlow' room where we stayed was spotless, delightfully decorated, and very comfortable. Had a little trouble finding the correct entrance upon arrival at the house, but that was resolved quickly. Beautiful historic home is conveniently located both for downtown Troy and also for RPI campus and other sites up on the hill. 'Angus' the dog was also very friendly! "The property was beautiful. The neighborhood is a little run down but not too bad. Full breakfast was great. Owner' s been running the place for 26 years, it's her home and she has tons of knowledge of the area."
