"This place is amazing! We were greeted by Fransesco upon our arrival and he was the kindest and most inviting host I’ve ever had at a hotel. He brought drinks to us at the poolside along with homemade focaccia and olive oil made by his own family on this estate. Not only was it delicious, it was something I’ve never had another host do despite many years of travel. The other staff were equally kind and cheerful. We had a traditional Italian charcuterie breakfast there and fresh juice. Even the water was special with mint and lemons from their trees. The room was spacious, clean, and had an air conditioner, which saved us during this massive heat wave. Francesco was wonderful to assist us with dinner plans and also activities around Elba. He has lived here his whole life, so he definitely has great advice! The grounds of this place are so pristine and would be ideal for families with young children. There is plenty of room to run and play and a playground in the shade. The pool was large and very clean too! If you are on the fence about staying somewhere else on the island, I can promise you that you won’t regret choosing Casa Campanella!"

"Well situated Simple apartments and charge a small fee for many things normally included Beautiful view of the valley Great facilities Good for couples Perfect for families For those that like a simple clean apartment to make as a holiday base and go exploring , this place is ideal and an amazing value on the island . If you hate the sound of small children or families you should pay double and rent your own villa elsewhere on the island Great bar , great cafe , self laundry available , also a really good restaurant at the bottom of the hill that makes their own bread , very convenient"
