Hotel Weber Ambassador

"The location of the hotel was great with fantastic views and a beach nearby, although this was always very busy. Our room was described as a Junior Suite but in effect was just a large room. It was clean and the bathroom was good and spacious. It was extremely noisy from early morning to late night with constant banging and moving of the furniture directly above. I would not recommend rooms in the 540s range for this reason. The shuttle service was very good and the staff friendly. The reception staff were mostly good although one a little curt. The food in the restaurant was good and lots of choice for breakfast. The service in the restaurant was good for the first two nights with one particular staff member very efficient yet also cheerful and very helpful. The night he was not there was terrible being slow, people asking when their food would come, and our bill was incorrect. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel but, with the issues above , would try somewhere else should we return"

"While it wss ok the stay. The rooms were outdated old and the feel. Was no the best when traveling with a loved one. No ironing board or room no gym. It just a good location and helpful. Needs a mayor update...."

"Hotel was great. About a 20-25 min walk from the ferry/bus. You will definitely get your exercise on since it’s on an incline lol. The roof too was awesome and the staff was great and helpful. They even gave us breakfast which wasn’t included in our package. I would stay here again."

"Very clean and comfortable rooms, staff was very helpful and close to food and drinks. Hotel bar was very pricey at $25€ for a cocktail but a great view over the bay from the roof top bar. The TV system was substandard but CNN was in English. The taxi stand was a few steps away so the was easy."

"The room was very comfortable, with an incredible view and a spacious balcony facing directly toward the sea. One of my favorite touches was having breakfast served right on the balcony. You select exactly what you would like to eat and the time you prefer, and they bring everything beautifully presented. The breakfast was delicious and enjoying it with that amazing view made the experience even more special. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the luxury building in the town square which overlooked the beautiful church. The location was fantastic and we still had access to breakfast and all of the amenities the hotel offered like the pool and restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Amalfi and be close to everything. Easy walking distance to the ferries and public transport, etc."

"Beautiful hotel with an amazing view! It was hot in Sorrento and we really appreciated the excellent air conditioning! The staff provided us with a breakfast to-go box when we had to leave for the airport at 5:30am! (We didn’t even think to ask for one!). The pool area was busy because it a well maintained pool. Breakfast was very good (especially the eggs and Brie). The staff was helpful and friendly."

"This property is gorgeous! The best stay we have had. Hands down the most dreamy , perfect accommodation. The staff are amazing, helpful, attentive and extremely welcoming and friendly. The property is luxurious and gorgeous. Every detail has been considered. It is worth every penny!"
