"The room was clean and well stocked. One thing I found interesting was there was no complementary lotion or hair conditioner. Shampoo and shower gel were offered as well as small bars of soap. The view from the veranda was a true partial ocean view and the sunsets were breathtaking. A/C was nice to have and functioned perfectly. Parking in the nearby Diamond lot was $25 per day which I felt was reasonable for the area. The location was excellent, walking distance to many restaurants,businesses and “ downtown” Kona. The pool was great with plenty of lounge chairs and I only had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs- it was very good. Keep in mind for four days with parking and resort fees it added an additional $450 to my stay. There is also no complementary coffee. It is available to go from the restaurant ( black drip) $4.75 a cup. Overall the hotel was quaint and comfortable in a convenient location and the housekeeping staff was exceptional! "

"Room was clean! Had a balcony overlooking the beach, which was fantastic. The location was great- close to shopping, restaurants and night life. The luau at the hotel was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. "

"You definitely need a car to explore all of big island! BUT if not, then that’s OKAY if you’re staying at this hotel! PRIME location. You’re right down the street from the shopping center/strip for food, abc store runs, souvenirs, the pier, and a calm beach perfect for kids! & nothing better than free breakfast and coming back from a hot day in the sun to AC! Highly recommend. I stayed a week - 2 adults, 3 kids. Uber available for other local tour/beach locations too. "

"We stayed at 3 different resorts/bnb's and this was our favorite! The location is great for exploring volcano NP and South Point. The one bedroom suite was so spacious with a large kitchen/living room, and comfortable beds. Just make sure to do your grocery shopping ahead of time as there are not many options nearby!"

"This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to stay in a jungle away from it all. The windows are screens and in the Hawaiian heat it feels like glamping. And the breakfasts and staff are wonderful too. The National park is very close and we visited multiple times to enjoy hiking, beaches, and the historical elements. The snorkelling/swimming area was also very busy. And the ranch offered snorkel gear and other things to make sure you could make the most of your time there! "

"Wasn't able to use the hot tub or the "quiet pool." Rooms were outdated and mattress in our room were really old. Curtains needed to be cleaned bad and had stains all over them. Dresser smelled really bad, so I couldn't put my clothes in it. Kitchen, bathrooms, floors, windows were really clea. It was nice that the room had stuff to play in the pool, sand toys for kids, and sunblock. "
