"Check in was good and easy and the restaurant was great. The rib-eye steak was amazing! Hotel room was good size but a little dated and extremely cold. The heating was only working for less than a minute and then it goes off. I tried to turn on severally but it wouldn’t turn on for another maybe 5 minutes or so then on less than a minute and then off. I struggled with cold through out the night. I was in room 6 for a night."

"The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. "Great pre-arrival service with emails sharing possible local sites and places to eat. Then, such a warm welcome on arrival. Great room and we had wonderful views down into Perth. Perth was within easy walking distance. The lounge with the wood burning fire in the evening was cozy and a great environment to enjoy a wee dram. Great breakfast."

"Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. "Wow. this place was definitely something else. The experience really begins at the entrance of the estate (do watch out for potholes). The environment where the estate is just absolutely lovely. The staff were also very kind and professional. I felt very welcome here. Would definitely come by again if I had the chance! I was in a rush so i couldnt get breakfast but I would 100% recommend."
