"Lovely room and host"

"We had a lovely comfortable overnight stay. The big bed was comfy with doona and extra pillows and blanket in the cupboard. It got a little stuffy overnight but the aircon fixed that. and the bathroom was great. Brand new and clean. Everything worked well! I'd stay here again :)"

"No plug in the sink. Fridge seals need cleaning, better still replacing. Fire alarm needs to be secured to the ceiling. No hand towel. General clean wouldn't hurt. "

"A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! "

"The fruit was not freshly cut. The fresh juicer was broken. There were no glasses placed near the juice bar. The chicken sausages placed in the same heating compartment so if you can't eat pork, you can't eat the chicken sausages either. The rooms were very dusty and the hallway hadn't been vaccumed probably for months. On the plus side the staff were very helpful and accomodating which made my stay nice. Also, the lighting in the rooms are very poor"

"DANGEROUS HEALTH HAZARD: Parasite Risk, Filth, unpleasant. Stayed 3 times for work, but never again. This hotel is a severe health and safety nightmare. Health & Water: The water quality is appalling. After using the tap on my last day, I suffered a violent gastrointestinal reaction. The shower water is so harsh it "burnt" my skin barrier. "No one there for check in i had to call the number above the door, was told the room number and the key was inside on the table. The room was dirty, stains over the bed, holes in walls, front door wouldnt lock. My calls to owner went unanswered, my partner back in Qld rang him and demanded all this be rectified as it wasnt safe for a female to be in an unlockabke room, he arrive 30mins later saw it wouldnt lock and put me in another room that did lock, 1st night there was a lady outside walking...

"This apartment was great and has everything you need for a 2 week stay. It’s clean and spacious with all facilities including washing machine and dryer. We also went away for a couple of days without having to worry about our belongings as the building is secure. "

"The Good: check in and parking was easy. We checked in late and found the SMS instructions to get the key from the keysafe very clear. Bed linen and towels were clean - which was a relief. Soap, shower gel and shampoo/conditioner was all fine. The Ugly: bathroom looked clean and could tell it was renovated. However we could tell it wasn't clean - did have marks on tiles that should have come off with a scrub. There was black muck on the shower screen that would come off with bleach. Carpets...

"Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

"Going to start off by saying that when you advertise a cottage in the middle of peak summer then you should ensure that at the very least the aircon is working. The place felt like a furnace the moment we stepped in and when we switched on the aircon it was not working. I promptly messaged about it hoping someone would come and fix it next day.
