"Very convenient proximity to Legoland and a few minutes drive from Carlsbad and its beaches. Nice view of the ocean from a distance. The resort is visited by families going to the amusement park, so some noise is to be expected and tends to die off after 10 p.m. The staff is extremely nice, helpful and efficient. The rooms are starting to show wear and tear. For example, in two rooms we stayed in, the wall paper was coming off the walls, the carpet was old and dirty, the mattresses had lost...
