"Walking in, i found the dark doors a bit off putting- not clueing in, this is a Japanese hotel. I even admired the bamboo! The doors made sense afterwards! My Husband & i tried out the baths- what an interesting experience. It was similar to a large float tank but I enjoyed this more. My Husband was skeptical & did it to humor me but really enjoyed it as well. The building seems really well built as we heard nothing & no one. The shower is huge. With a big bath tub."

"Decent option for economy choice, but overall bit run down. Our room had distinct dog smell and beds were kinda lumpy. Shower head was leaking and the faucet was weirdly loose (but worked). Pretty good breakfast! We didn’t use pool, but it looked okay. Not walkable area, except little convenience store, but about 10-15 min drive to a lot of things."

"Had some issues making an adjustment to original booking dates despite it saying changes or cancelations could be made up to a day before arrival. Instead of removing one of the three nights they cancelled the existing booking entirely and rebooked for 2 at a date much closer to the trip which drastically increased the cost of this stay. Room had a weird smell. About what you would expect for a lower cost hotel/motel type stay."

"Clean and very nice staff Only issue is this hotel uses an older building access system and constantly being deactivated. Multiple trips to front desk for reactivation. Common at HI but still annoying"

"This hotel has been consistently clean, and the staff have been consistently kind. The breakfast was well stocked, hot, and clean. The only downfall we’ve experienced is that there is no hot tub."
