"Good location, but the room we had on the porch, was right by some big dumsters, that were used very frequently all through the night - making a lot of noise.
Room was fine but needed renovation (broken tiles and blinds etc., matress very (too) soft. Staff was nice and offered us the use of pool facilities after our 10 AM check-out and also let us keep the car in the (free) parking for some hours. "

"I came here for a quick solo getaway to relax, and unfortunately, I would not recommend Southwinds Motel.
When I arrived on Saturday, October 10, they initially gave me a room right next to the bar. It was so loud that I had to request another room, and I didn’t finally get settled until around 4 p.m. After traveling and waiting in the heat, that was a frustrating start.
The room had a noisy window AC unit, and I didn’t find the environment comfortable. The room felt very dry to me. I also...

"Loved our little private porch however the construction next door made it unbearable. Not the fault of the property. The room was spacious and the location was wonderful. The pool is well maintained and a nice oasis after a hot, busy day. Be aware parking is around the corner and very expensive. It cost us $100 for 3 days.
The staff was friendly
Overall an enjoyable stay and I would sty here again"

The vibe is island, great pool, good food and the staff is wonderful.
Could use some maintenance in the rooms, but it’s pretty good.
