"Loved staying at the Alpine Rivers Inn !! every room comes with a balcony in the back with a fairly private and gorgeous view of the river . AND free breakfast !! this was an emergency stay during the stevens closure due to pow but i do not regret choosing this location at all. There are board games in the lobby you can take back to your room to play and the staff were nothing but kind , i was able to check in and out early with no charge which i really appreciated . "Bed was cheap and uncomfortable. The attendant was not on duty when I arrived and was away from the front desk. When he arrived he gave me a key that didn’t work. I went back to the front desk and he wasn’t there. Finally he showed up and re-keyed the card. The door still wouldn’t open. The attendant said the battery for the door lock was dead. He installed a new battery and the key worked. "
